The Boards of Education of Light of Christ Catholic School Division and Living Sky School Division have passed motions to change the cut off date for entrance to kindergarten from Oct. 31 to Dec. 31.
Children who are five years old as of Dec. 31 of the school year may be admitted to kindergarten starting in the 2014-15 school year.
Kindergarten is a time for growth, wonder and discovery when the building blocks for physical well-being, school readiness and social belonging are established. Parents are encouraged to contact their local school for further information about kindergarten registration.
