During the month of May the exhibition in the Window Salon of the Chapel Gallery highlights the work of students from Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies (SIIT).

The pieces in this exhibition have been created over the course of three and a half months with the students exploring a variety of media around specific assigned themes. Students studied other artists' work and techniques and were asked to create meaningful pieces, both as individuals and as groups. The creativity of each student is evident in the use of new and recycled materials.

A reception for the SIIT student exhibition will be held on Monday, May 14 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Chapel Gallery. Visitors will have the chance to meet the artists and discuss their work.

The Chapel Gallery is located in the Don Ross Centre at 891 - 99th St. and is open from noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. For more information please contact the Chapel Gallery at 445-1757. Support is provided by the Saskatchewan Arts Board, the City of North Battleford, Saskatchewan Lotteries and RBC Wealth Management Dominion Securities - Rongve, Gabruch, Schell and Weikle Wealth Management.
