Snow makes a return appearance

Sunday morning we woke up to a white world again. The snow that fell in the night partially disappeared during the day and travelling was not affected by the snow. Monday we once again woke up to see new snow on the ground.

Monday we once again woke up to see new snow on the ground. Large flakes were falling lazily.

Dennis and Jeanette Pike of Indian Head visited with Lois and Gerald Pike and dropped in to visit Florence Pike during the past week. They had been visiting with Debbie and Kirk Munro and family at Lloydminster.

Visiting with Eileen and Keith Evans on Easter weekend were John, Calynda and Logan Evans of Calgary and Karen and Bryan Sjoberg and daughters Brooke, Nicole and Paige of Lloydminster.

Funeral service for the late Eileen Lamont will be held in St. Paul's Church, Forest Bank at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 28.

Lois Pike was one of the Maidstone Red Hats who attended the Saturday evening performance of the Battlefords Blend Sweet Adelines as they celebrated their 30th anniversary. Special performers at the event were the Back Row Boys.

Helena Pike was pleased to be part of a group of ladies who gathered at the home of Ellen and Maurice Oddan Saturday afternoon to celebrate the birth of Carter Oddan. Carter was born in January. Carter was showered with attention and gifts and appeared to enjoy it all. He and his mom and dad, Tracy and Mark Oddan, travelled from Saskatoon to spend the weekend with Maurice and Ellen.
