The regular monthly meeting was held March 9 with 12 in attendance and Margaret MacEachern in the chair. Money collected in February for Telemiracle totalled $159.60.

There are 176 seniors' centres in Saskatchean and 61 of these have 30 members or less. When we built our new centre we had 104 members. Now we have less than 50.

April 20 was set as the date for the March-April birthday party to take place at noon with games of choice to follow.

Ten-digit dialing for all calls, even local, will come into place in the near future. Further on this will be announced.

Most of the positions on the centre's biard are accounted for with a few who were not in attendance to be contacted. Lunch was provided at the end of the meeting by Dorothy Schwartz.

March 12 was to be Kaiser but because of small turnout, cribbage was played. Lunch was provided by Lil McMillan and Bev Stewart. High score went to Ray Hartman and low to Jean Stewart.

The stew and biscuit luncheon was well attended March 15 with Margaret MacEachern, who had just returned from a two-week holiday in the United States, asking the blessing. Following the luncheon, bingo was played with Margaret and Jean Hartman doing the calling. Lunch was provided by Denise Newton. The loonie pot was won by Jean Hartman.

Catch the 10 Whist, scheduled for March 19, was cancelled at it was a stormy day.

Bingo was played March 21 with few in attendance. Jean Hartman and Margaret MacEachern did the calling. Margaret also supplied the lunch.

Cribbage was held March 26 with Dorothy Schwartz supplying lunch assisted by Jean Hartman. High score went to Jean Stewart and low to Ray Hartman. It was nice to have Milt McMillan join us once again.

Bingo was played March 28 with Margaret MacEachern and Denise Newton doing the calling. Lunch was provided by Tillie Linkert assisted by Jean Stewart.

The card game 500 was played April 2 with Jean Stewart and Margaret MacEachern hosting and providing lunch. High score went to Dorothy Schwartz and low to Hettie Richardson.

It was a busy week for a number of the senior members. Thursday was a potluck supper and benefit for Bill and Linda McGillvery who recently lost their shop to a fire on the farm.

Friday, some attended a hilarious supper theatre at Milleton Hall. Saturday was the Cash Back program at Lashburn.

It rained and now all the snow has disappeared.
