City of North Battleford Historic Archives volunteer Harvey Cashmore has created a historical time line that currently has 6oo entries.

Occasionally, committee members of the City of North Battleford Historic Archives work on a personal project. For some time now, Harvey Cashmore, a committee member, has entertained the idea of a historical timeline noting the dates of events which have impacted upon the lives of the people of North Battleford in some way. This project will be on-going with regular updates by Harvey. It spans the years from 1530 to the present day and has over 600 entries.

The timeline will be featured at the upcoming Archives Week activities in North Battleford Wednesday (noon to 5 p.m.) at the Frontier Mall and Thursday (noon to 6 p.m.) at the Territorial Mall.

Please visit the display and check out the timeline to discover what significant event happened the year in which you were born. Find out why 1913 was so important to North Battleford and ladies please note what happened in the year 1916 that was so very important in the history of women.
