Saturday, Nov. 10, family gathered at the Speers Rec Center for a surprise birthday party to celebrate Marguerite Zunich turning 90 years young. Her birthday is actually Dec. 25, but it was held early so more people could attend.

David Crewe Patterson served in the First World War and is remembered by his grandson David Clinton. Patterson marched into Russia in the war, served in the 371 Legion in La Ronge, and has a park in La Ronge named after him.
