HUMBOLDT — An effort to convert four rooms at the Humboldt District Hospital for use by mental health and addictions clients is $6,000 away from its goal.

We just lost another of our old schools chums, Barbar Roseth (Bremner) of Rocky Mountain House, Alta., on Jan. 29 at the age of 89. She was born Dec. 25, 1930. Barbara has been in a senior home for a good number of years.

HUMBOLDT — A week of bowling in rock and roll costumes raised almost $22,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters. Bowling for Kids’ Sake took place from Feb. 4 to 10 at Kemway Lanes and saw 21 teams participate.
