The Humboldt and District Food Bank is partnering with local grocery stores for the holidays. “The three grocery stores are raising products for us at this time,” said Shirley Reiter, treasurer and board member of the Humboldt and District Food Bank.

The Saskatoon Jazz Orchestra will be performing stunning classic and modern/contemporary arrangements of holiday classics to help “swing” audiences into the holiday spirit at the Dekker Centre this month.

The Battlefords own Community Youth Choir performed just in time for the holiday season this past weekend to a full house in the Third Avenue United Church. The youth, aged five to 19, sang holiday favourites along with folk songs.

The R.M. of Glenside held their fall annual election of some new officers. Kim Custer is the new councillor for Division 5. She is replacing Robert Greer, who was the councillor for nearly 40 years. Robert passed away in June.

MAIDSTONE – Colleen Koski, Chantal and Radka were Saturday shoppers in Lloydminster. Everyone enjoyed the Festival of Trees held at the hospital atrium last week. There was a lovely variety of silent auction items and decorated trees.
