The Dekker Centre continues its On Dekk - Presented by Battlefords Untapped series of livestream performances, sponsored by the Battlefords and District Community Foundation.
This March 27 they will be presenting The Remnants. The trio of Gary Wappel, John Chipak and Dave McQuaid will bring their background in music to the Dekker Centre livestream, with classic country and rock being performed. This particular performance is sponsored by Scott Campbell Dodge.
According to the Dekker Centre’s promotional material, the name The Remnants came about when the three realized that “each of them was a remaining active musical part of a musical past that is no longer active. Together, they agreed that ‘The Remnants’ was a decidedly ‘smoother’ term than The Leftovers.”
