On Oct. 7 The Gog will play host to a jazz quintet from Saskatoon led by saxophonist Marc Holt and accompanied by Bryn Becker on keyboard, Dylan Smith on drums, Michael Stankowski on guitar and Nevin Buehler on bass.

Missoula Children’s Theater was in town again for another stellar performance, this year with 50 local child actors putting on “Rapunzel” on Sept. 17.

Most Canadian baby boomers are familiar with The Great Reveen. Born Peter Reveen in Australia, he moved to Canada in the 1960s and created the popular Reveen hypnotism stage show that he performed for more than six million people during his career.

Dancers from all over came to the DK Dance Visions’ DK Summer Dance Intensive from Aug. 16-18. Parents and friends got to see what the dancers learned at a showcase on Aug. 18, which featured the wide variety of classes that were taught.

t has been announced that Juno Award-winning performer Corb Lund will be performing at Gold Eagle Casino this Nov. 19. Tickets went on sale Aug. 5 and are $30 including GST and service charges.

Local classical musician Cole Knutson and pianist Jaya Hoy will be performing a recital at Third Avenue Church on Sunday, July 31 at 3 p.m.
