Ukrainian immigrant finds her home with Sweet Adelines group.

The Saskatchewan-based author will bring her 2nd book of poetry, Among the Untamed, to the North Battleford Library May 25.

Calling features the fibre works of Saskatchewan artist Yokozawa Farquharson, while Micro & Macro of the Boreal Forest features a mixture of paintings and photography set in the wilderness of Northern Saskatchewan.

The learning events will be held May 4, 11 and 18 at the Humboldt and District Gallery.

Cazea Johnstone, Monika Hardi, Piper Kent, Mikayla Wisner and Myah Edwards won the top five awards of the night, with another six recognized for their pieces.
