110 calls over a three-day period

Battlefords RCMP responded to more than 110 calls for service/occurrences over a three-day period from 6 a.m. Friday, May 2 to 6 a.m. Monday, May 5.

Battlefords RCMP responded to more than 110 calls for service/occurrences over a three-day period from 6 a.m. Friday, May 2 to 6 a.m. Monday, May 5.

Included in those calls were 12 false alarms, four calls to assist Social Services with child welfare investigations and six false/nuisance 911 calls.

Friday

7:01 a.m. - Noise complaint at a home on 114th Street, a 55-year-old man was arrested on scene found to be in violation of his no alcohol conditions on his parole.

8:42 a.m. - Vehicle parked on 1100 block of 100th Street entered overnight and a cell phone reported stolen.

9:03 a.m. - Report of intoxicated man walking down the middle of the street on 15th Avenue. Man located at front door of a relative's residence who agreed to keep him inside to sober up.

12:32 p.m. - Shoplifting complaint from a business on Railway Avenue East. Four possible suspects identified. Investigation ongoing.

1:02 p.m. - Several intoxicated individuals located off Railway Avenue South consuming alcohol. A 54-year-old woman was arrested on scene and is facing charges of public intoxication. A 45-year-old woman was transported to hospital by ambulance due to high levels of intoxication, then later started causing a scene there and was arrested and returned to cells as well. Three other subjects were advised to leave the area.

1:03 p.m. - Three people fighting and arguing in a residence on 104th Street. Both left when police called. One man, 22, was located very intoxicated a short distance away and arrested for public intoxication. Other men found other home to stay at.

1:36 p.m. - Back window of a vehicle parked on 1000 block of 112th overnight damaged.

2:00 p.m. - 911 call of an assault near a business on 100th Street. A 24-year-old woman was arrested and has been charged with assault and has since been released from custody to appear in Provincial Court at a future date. The victim was not injured in the incident and both parties are known to each other.

2:05 p.m. - Hit and run on Railway Avenue East. Suspect vehicle has since been identified, investigation ongoing.

3:06 p.m. - Attempted break and enter to a shed on 98th Street, suspect scared away when alarm activated. Entry not gained.

3:55 p.m. - 45- and 44-year-old men arrested for public intoxication, found heavily intoxicated by patrolling members on 101st Street.

3:46 p.m. - Theft of two boat docks from a business on 110th Street.

5:03 p.m. - 36-year-old woman arrested on 101st Street for public intoxication.

5:22 p.m. - Members called to 19th Avenue on report of subjects fighting. 22-year-old woman arrested on scene and charged with failing to comply with probation, found to be in violation of no alcohol provision. None of the subjects involved wanted to co-operate with any investigation into the fight.

6:27 p.m. - Members called to residence on 102nd Street on report of two youths fighting. An 18-year-old man was arrested on scene and is facing charges of failing to comply with a youth probation order.

7:09 p.m. - 18-year-old woman arrested on 100th Street for public intoxication after report of very intoxicated person falling into traffic.

7:15 p.m. - 13-year-old habitual runaway reported missing from a youth group home. Returned on her own the next day.

7:30 p.m. - Members called to residence on 1400 block of 101st Street to remove a man causing problems. The 23-year-old subject located outside the home, very intoxicated and was arrested and removed from the area to preventfurther problems. The subject then caused some damage to the police vehicle on route to cells and purposefully defecated in his pants to protest his arrest. He is facing one charge of mischief.

7:43 p.m. - 33-year-old man arrested after call of unwanted and intoxicated person at a residence on 101st Street.

8:43 p.m. - 911 call of several people fighting on 1400 block of 101st Street. Three subjects located on scene, all highly intoxicated. 25-year-old woman arrested and charged with ome count of obstruction. A 21-year-old woman was arrested for warrants out of Cut Knife and then threatened the arresting officer. She is now facing one new count of uttering threats. A 52-year-old man was arrested for causing a disturbance as well, and held in custody until sober.

8:43 p.m. - 53-year-old woman arrested and charged with public intoxication on 101st Street. Held in custody until sober.

8:47 p.m. - 24-year-old man reported missing from hospital. Located some time later by member on 100th Street and returned.

9:44 p.m. - Report of 24-year-old woman missing, due home four hours earlier. Located safe and sound shortly after complaint made.

10:36 p.m. - 32-year-old man arrested and charged with public intoxication, found by members very intoxicated walking in the street on 104th Street.

10:45 p.m. - Report of someone setting off fireworks on 1100 block of 105th Street. No perpetrators located.

11:23 p.m. - Unwanted intoxicated person at a residence on 104th Street. Subject left before members arrival and was not located.

Saturday

1:20 a.m. - Subject called 911 for members to come to a residence on 9th Avenue because he'd found his wife in bed with another man and wanted members to attend and witness. Caller did not live at residence and was estranged from wife. Complainant told to leave and advised to seek legal counsel regarding ongoing custody disagreement.

5:13 a.m. - Man facing possible charges of impaired driving after vehicle stop on Highway 16.

11:05 a.m. - Theft of a cell phone and charger from a residence on St. Laurent Drive. Suspect identified by complainant.

12:10 p.m. - Report of shoplifting from a business on 101st Street. Suspect located later by members several blocks away. 19-year-old man arrested and is facing charges of theft, obstruction, causing a disturbance and two charges breach of probation. Remanded into custody and scheduled to appear in North Battleford Provincial Court on Monday at 930 a.m.

2:11 p.m. - Three intoxicated persons, two women ages 39 and 54 and a 33-year-old man arrested for public intoxication after complaint for drunk people on 101st Street causing problems.

3:09 p.m. - 49-year-old woman arrested and charged with public intoxication on 101st Street.

5:00 p.m. - Members called to a residence on 114th Street on report of several people fighting and someone possibly setting off bear spray inside. Members encountered several very intoxicated people in the residence. Subjects were fighting and arguing inside and to calm everyone down, one 23-year-old woman decided to set off a can of bear spray in the home. Five persons were arrested on scene. The 23-year-old woman is facing one count of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and one count of assault with A weapon. She has since been released from custody to appear at a later date. A 17-year-old male was arrested and later released on charges of failing to comply with a no alcohol condition. A 24-year-old woman, a 30-year-old man and a 21-year-old man were all arrested and later released without charges at this time. Investigation is ongoing. All subjects involved in matter were known to each other.

6:09 p.m. - 65-year-old man arrested on 101st Street and charged with public intoxication.

7:29 p.m. - 47-year-old man facing charges of assault and causing a disturbance, after report of a man patient becoming combative with staff at hospital.

9:55 p.m. - Complainant reporting he was assaulted while walking on 13th Avenue. He was approached by an unknown man asking for cigarettes and was struck when he told the man he didn't have any. No injuries sustained.

Sunday

1:31 a.m. - Report of an assault at a bar. Man states he was drinking with two friends and they hit him. Investigation ongoing.

1:38 a.m. - 17-year-old woman arrested and facing charges under Alcohol and Gaming Regulations Act, found walking on the road near 17th Avenue and 104th Street.

2:40 a.m. - Two people fighting/arguing on 107th Street. Aggressor left when police called. Both persons known to each other. No charges pursued.

6:00 a.m. - Found bike on Highway 16 bypass turned over to police.

6:13 a.m. - Theft of gas from a business on 100th Street. Suspects driving a grey Dodge Caravan.

12:30 p.m. - Report of a vehicle struck with eggs during the night while parked on 1300 block of 110th Street.

3:54 p.m. - Assault reported, occurred during the early morning hours. Minor injuries reported, investigation ongoing.

4:04 p.m. - 54-year-old woman arrested on Railway Avenue East and charged with public intoxication.

6:20 p.m. - 14-year-old youth reported missing since previous evening. Subject located by members at a residence in city and returned home.

8:07 p.m. - 36-year-old woman arrested after report of intoxicated and unwanted guest at a home on 102nd street. Held in custody until sober.

8:20 p.m. - 53-year-old woman arrested and charged for public intoxication, causing problems on 107th Street.

Monday

12:25 a.m. - Attempted break in to a vehicle on Panton Avenue. Witnesses found suspect and chased him away. Suspect has been identified and investigation ongoing.

3:53 a.m. - Break and enter to a business on 101st Street reported. Four suspects located at scene and arrested. Investigation ongoing at this time and charges still pending.

4:21 a.m. - Intoxicated person banging on complainant's door on 107th Street, threatening to smash a window. 15-year-old woman located and arrested at scene.
