The North Battleford Fire Department, RCMP and WPD Ambulance all attended a call early Wednesday morning in which a vehicle struck a building on Winder Crescent, causing major damage to both.
RCMP say the vehicle struck an apartment building on Winder Crescent and the driver fled the scene on foot. A 16-year-old youth was located and arrested a short distance away.
The youth was found to be intoxicated and was held in custody as the investigation continued.
Numerous charges are pending.
The fire department says they responded with a pumper and three firefighters. There were no injuries and they remained on the scene for approximately one hour.
