HUMBOLDT — A 16-year-old male youth has been charged with failing to report an accident after police received reports of an abandoned car located on Humboldt’s Main Street near the Canada Post building.
Humboldt RCMP received the reports around 4:45 a.m. on May 16. A black four-door car was involved in a collision with a light standard and the curb and substantial damage occurred to the front end of the car. There were no occupants remaining at the scene.
Police said an investigation has learned the collision had taken place earlier, around 2:30 a.m., and as a result has led to the driver, from Humboldt, being responsible. RCMP said there were no injuries sustained in this collision and they continue to investigate.
