NIPAWIN — A part of Nipawin Road East will be closed due to a water main break. The closure affects the road from 1st Avenue East to Railway Avenue East. The closure starts on May 10 at 7 am. The road will remain closed until repairs are compete.

HUMBOLDT — Water distribution will be affected for those living on the 700 and 800 blocks of Humboldt's 10th Street. The blocks are located between Seventh Avenue and Ninth Avenue.

It’s been Mental Health Week in the city of North Battleford.

The crackdown on parking infractions in the city of North Battleford has already resulted in vehicles being towed away. City Manager Randy Patrick confirmed Tuesday that 12 vehicles have been towed since April 23.

EAST CENTRAL — Rural crime rates in Saskatchewan are the highest in the country, according to a Statistics Canada report. The report, released May 7, said in 2017 the crime rate in rural Saskatchewan was 13,829 per 100,000 population.
