MELFORT — As part of the City of Melfort’s continued efforts to promote physical activity, the city has joined the ParticipACTION Community Better Challenge and will be holding a sports day with larger than normal sport equipment.

RCMP arrested two men and seized firearms and drugs following a traffic stop. Aaron Chief, 39, and Zack Thomas, 26, both of Onion Lake were arrested. According to Onion Lake RCMP, on June 5 at approximately 6:45 p.m.

MELFORT — The City of Melfort is planning this year’s fireworks show to be the biggest the city has organized in its history.

Living Sky School Division is reporting two more cases of COVID-19 within its school division between May 24-29. One case is at North Battleford Comprehensive High School, and the other case was reported at Lawrence Elementary School.
