SASKATOON -  A man accused of killing 30-year-old Tyler Morin in 2017 was arrested and charged Tuesday at the Saskatchewan Penitentiary in Prince Albert.

Levi Dana George McAdam, 22, made his first appearance in Saskatoon Provincial Court Wednesday on a charge of first-degree murder and the matter was adjourned to June 1. He is currently serving time on an unrelated matter.

On Nov. 10, 2017, Morin was found inside a Saskatoon home with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He died in hospital the next day.

Saskatoon Police say that they responded to the home in the 200 block of Ave. V South at approximately 6 a.m. They say that Morin knew the shooter but they weren’t able to identify him at the time.
