CANDLE LAKE —An investigation is ongoing into an adult male that was found deceased in Candle Lake.
The Nipawin RCMP received the report of a deceased adult male on Sept. 23, at approximately 12:50 a.m.
The male was found at a residence in Candle Lake. Police attended the scene and called for assistance from the Prince Albert Forensic Identification Service and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service.
At this time, any type of foul play cannot be discounted or confirmed without further investigation. The Saskatchewan Coroners Service maintains carriage of the investigation as criminality has not been confirmed.
The RCMP stated that will continue to assist with the investigation and work with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service to determine the cause of death.
