The Agricultural Producers Association of Saskatchewan announced they are postponing their midterm Policy Conference scheduled for March 16-17 in Saskatoon, due to coronavirus concerns.
“Our goal is to help reduce the potential spread of infection amongst our members and the general public,” says APAS President Todd Lewis in a news release. “Our members would have been traveling from small communities across the province for this event, and we want to minimize the potential spread of infection as much as possible.”
The decision was made in the context of other large-scale event cancellations in the province. Other APAS operations are continuing normally.
