TISDALE — The Tisdale Crop Production Services was broken into and a credit card was stolen.

The break-in occurred between the night of Aug. 6 to the morning of Aug. 7.

There were two locks cut off the gate but no other damage.

This wasn’t the only agriculture business broken into that day, with the Paragon Ag Services in Kinistino being broken into as well. A company truck was stolen but recovered.

While the RCMP can’t say if they’re connected or not, they find it unusual.

“It’s odd that businesses of the same types of businesses are being broken into at the same time,” said Sgt. Daryl Andrusiak, the Tisdale RCMP’s commanding officer.

Both break-ins are under investigation.

This is also at a time when Melfort is facing an increase of break-ins, according to Cpl. Kyle Wyonzek with the Melfort RCMP.

“There has been several break and enters lately,” said Cpl. Wyonzek. “A significant increase.”

Anyone with information relating to the break-ins is encouraged to contact the RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
