Alleged robbery at hotel

Battlefords RCMP are investigating an alleged robbery that took place at a hotel in North Battleford. According to police the incident happened shortly after 1 a.m .on Tuesday.

North Battleford RCMP are releasing two composite drawings of the two suspects involved in a current ongoing robbery investigation. Suspect 1 is described as being 6'1" or 6'2" in height and has some noticeable facial acne.


Battlefords RCMP are investigating an alleged robbery that took place at a hotel in North Battleford.


According to police the incident happened shortly after 1 a.m .on Tuesday. RCMP say two men, one with a knife, entered a hotel room and pushed a victim down to the floor before taking several personal items and fleeing.


Three persons had been staying in the room at the time. According to the RCMP, the initial investigation indicates perpetrators may have entered the wrong room and the victims were not the intended targets. Fortunately, no one was injured.


The perpetrators are described as First Nations, with one wearing glasses, 6'1" tall, heavier set with a blue windbreaker, and with noticeable facial acne, while the second was 5'8", wearing a darker sweater.


Surveillance footage is in the process of being reviewed.
