Another case of COVID-19 detected at St. Augustine School

HUMBOLDT — Another case of COVID-19 has been detected at Humboldt’s St. Augustine School Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools said they were informed of the case by health officials May 15. The division was informed of a previous case May 12.

HUMBOLDT — Another case of COVID-19 has been detected at Humboldt’s St. Augustine School

Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools said they were informed of the case by health officials May 15. The division was informed of a previous case May 12.

Both cases are being investigated as variants of concern.

“We are working with Public Health to notify parents and caregivers,” a release from the division said. “[The Saskatchewan Health Authority] is recommending that all close contacts get tested. Risk of exposure for anyone not considered a close contact remains low.”

The division said the affected classes will switch to online learning.

To protect privacy of individuals, the division said it is not able to share or discuss details.
