Battlefords RCMP are reporting another incident of shots fired in the city.
They report than during the early morning of April 30 at around 1:30 a.m., police were called to a business on the 900 block of the Highway 16 bypass for a call of shots fired.
When RCMP arrived no one was located. RCMP then interviewed witnesses and reviewed video footage. RCMP were then able to determine that two females had walked up to the window of a parked white truck at the business. A verbal exchange ensued between the females and occupants of the white truck. A firearm was discharged, and the truck backed up at a high rate of speed, damaging property at the business.
The females then fled the area while the truck drove off to Railway Avenue and headed east. RCMP were not able to determine if anyone was injured.
RCMP are asking forr the assistance of the public in locating and identifying the female in the attached pictures. They are also asking for the assistance of the public in locating the attached vehicle. It is described as a white Chevrolet Silverado truck with Saskatchewan plate 721-LJK.
The Investigation is ongoing and the public is encouraged to call the Battlefords Detachment or Crimestoppers with information.
