There has been an armed robbery at the Petro-Canada station in Battleford.
According to Battlefords RCMP the incident took place around 9:30 p.m. Friday night. A lone masked male had entered the business, struck one of the employees and displayed a knife, demanding cash from the two male employees. He then left on foot with cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police officers and a police service dog conducted an extensive search of the area but were unable to locate the suspect. Suspect is described as a Caucasian male with a slim build, approximately 5 feet 11 inches in height, estimated age late teens to early 20s.
