Assault victim suffers bit wound

Battlefords RCMP responded to about 30 reports/occurrences between 6 a.m. Monday, Dec. 2 and 6 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3. Monday 11:57 a.m. - Two-vehicle collision in Frontier Mall Parking Lot. No injuries, one vehicle needed to be towed from scene.

Battlefords RCMP responded to about 30 reports/occurrences between 6 a.m. Monday, Dec. 2 and 6 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3.

Monday

11:57 a.m. - Two-vehicle collision in Frontier Mall Parking Lot. No injuries, one vehicle needed to be towed from scene.

2:00 p.m. - Report of two men fighting on 1100 block of 101st Street. Subjects left prior to police arriving and were not located.

3:20 p.m. - Report of two intoxicated men bothering people on 1100 block of 101st Street.

4:36 p.m. - Report of assault at a residence on 1500 block of 106th Street. 46-year-old woman arrested on scene for assault. Victim suffered a bite wound and required some medical attention. Suspect later released from custody, charges pending. Suspect and victim are known to each other.

4:56 p.m. - Two intoxicated and unwanted persons at a residence on 900 block of 110th Street. A 37-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman arrested on scene for mischief and held in custody until sober after refusing to leave when asked.

5:12 p.m. - Wallet stolen from vehicle parked on 1400 block of 107th Street some time during previous evening.

6:25 p.m. - 39-year-old male arrested for mischief after complaint of unwanted intoxicated man at a residence on 900 block of 110th Street.

6:44 p.m. - Intoxicated man reported walking in the middle of the street on 1000 block of 102nd Street. Then reported lying down in the middle of the street. Then arrested and held in custody until sober.

6:47 p.m. - Call to residence on 1300 block of 98th Street on report of an assault. A 42-year-old man was arrested on scene and will appear in North Battleford Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday charged with one count of assault. A second 39-year-old man was also arrested on scene as an unwanted, intoxicated guest and held in custody until sober, before being released without charges. All subjects involved known to each other.

7:53 p.m. - Report of an injured male coming into a licensed premise on 900 block of 101st Street. A 25-year-old male was located and found to be on a conditional sentence order that included not to consume alcohol. Arrested and to appear in court Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. Had some minor injuries consistent with assault but would not co-operate with any investigation. A second man, 67, was also arrested on scene for public intoxication and held in custody until sober.

8:16 p.m. - 14-year-old youth reported missing from care home. Returned to home approximately one hour later.

8:22 p.m. - 30-year-old man arrested for public intoxication on 900 block of 103rd Street after complaint. Later released facing charges under Liquor Act.

Tuesday

1:25 a.m. - Report of loud party/fighting at residence on 1600 block of 107th Street. 31-year-old man was arrested on scene for mischief, causing problems in the residence. No charges pursued and held in custody until sober.

2:39 a.m. - Male caller advising he was armed and hearing voices.28-year-old man located without issue, not armedand transported to hospital for assessment.
