Battlefords RCMP responded to 58 calls for service between 6 am Feb. 24 and 6 am Feb 25, including the following:
February 24, 2017
6:53 am - Call of a robbery with a weapon. Members attended and a foot chase occurred with one suspect being caught. Charges pending.
8:08 am - call of damage being done to a vehicle parked outside of local business. Investigation ongoing.
3:38 p.m. - report of a missing person who was later located by police and returned.
4:22 p.m. - report of damage to a vehicle. Investigation ongoing.
4:58 p.m. - report of three kids missing as they ran away. All three kids located safe.
9:13 p.m. - report of a person wanted by police. Investigation ongoing.
9:50 p.m. - report of a suspicious vehicle parked.
February 25, 2017
12:11 a.m. - report of a theft from a family member. Investigation ongoing.
00:34 a.m. - report of a break and enter to a residence on the 1700 block of 104th St. Investigation ongoing.
1:12 a.m. - report of a structure fire. Investigation ongoing but does not appear to be suspicious.
1:34 a.m. - impaired operation of a motor vehicle. Charges pending against the driver.
3:19 a.m. - report of a missing person who was later found by the complainant.
5:26 a.m. - report of an assault with weapon. Members attended the residence believed to be where the altercation took place. Victim was not located. Victim eventually located and spoken to. Investigation ongoing.
The Battlefords RCMP also responded to two reports of items lost/found, 17 traffic complaints, three false alarms and four 911/disturbance calls.
