It was a quiet day for the Battlefords RCMP detachment between 6 a.m. Monday, Sept. 8 and 6 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9.
Included in the 20 calls responded to were five municipal bylaw or disturbance complaints, one false alarm, one traffic complaint, one fraud related complaint, two false or nuisance 911 calls and one child welfare/family agreements investigation.
Monday
7:23 a.m. - Three vehicles vandalized on a lot on 2200 block of 100th Street during the night.
10:53 a.m. - Two perpetrators witnessed attempting to break into an apartment on Winder Crescent chased away by witness. Perpetrators fled scene in a silver van which may have had a handicap sticker on it.
1:09 p.m. - Report of an assault from the previous day at a residence on Ross Crescent. A suspect was arrested in the matter, charges currently pending. Victim in matter suffered minor injuries that did not need medical attention. Investigation still ongoing.
2:20 p.m. - Report of theft of a wallet from a residence on Winder Crescent.
4:06 p.m. - Two female suspects arrested for shoplifting at a business on Territorial Drive North. Both later released each facing one count of theft under $5,000.
6:40 p.m. - Two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Territorial Drive and 100th Street. Both vehicles sustained significant damage and were towed from scene. No injuries reported.
7:01 p.m. - Report of an assault outside a business on Railway Avenue East. Victim and Suspect are known to each other. Charges currently pending against a 56-year-old woman.
7:20 p.m. - 40-year-old man arrested for mischief, intoxicated and refusing to leave a home on 105th Street.
Tuesday
1:36 a.m. - 43-year-old man charged with impaired driving and driving while over .08 after a vehicle stop.
2:46 a.m. - 21-year-old man arrested for mischief after a complaint of intoxicated man wondering around a yard on 105th Street.
