SASKATOON — The City of Saskatoon will perform water maintenance work on Thursday, Aug. 8, in streets located in two separate neighbourhoods on the west side.
Avenue H between 22nd and 23rd streets will be impassable to motorists starting at 7 a.m. for water main work.
The 7th Avenue North intersection at Balmoral Street will close at 7 a.m. on the same day for water replacement work.
The Avenue H project is expected to take two days to complete. In contrast, the one at the 7th Avenue North-Balmoral Street intersection will take a month, weather permitting and barring unforeseen circumstances.
Detours will be in place in both work zones to guide motorists in taking alternate routes. These detours may affect Saskatoon Transit.
Third-party apps like Transit and Google Maps Transit offer transit service alerts and real-time bus information on desktops.
