It was a relatively quiet 24 hours for North Battleford RCMP, who responded to about 20 calls for service/occurrences between 6 a.m. Monday, June 16 and 6 a.m. Tuesday, June 17.

It was a relatively quiet 24 hours for North Battleford RCMP, who responded to about 20 calls for service/occurrences between 6 a.m. Monday, June 16 and 6 a.m. Tuesday, June 17.

Among those calls were one false alarm, two incidents of assistance to Social Services, two incidents of assisting Probation Services, two traffic complaints and two municipal bylaw/noise complaints.

Monday

8:15 a.m. - Call to 911 to report a car/pedestrian collision from a week earlier.

8:57 a.m. - Vehicle broken into overnight on 1700 block of 98th Street.

3:04 p.m. - Complaint of two persons fighting/arguing on 12th Avenue. Investigation ongoing.

8:24 p.m. - Shoplifting complaint from a business on 101st Street.

8:49 p.m. - Call of a family dispute. Members attended and mediated a minor disagreement.

10:35 p.m. - Report of harassing text messages being received. Investigation ongoing.

10:37 p.m. - Caller reporting spouse is intoxicated and freaking out at residence. He left on foot while caller on phone and subject not located.

10:56 p.m. - 51-year-old man arrested and charged for public intoxication, found extremely intoxicated on Railway Avenue East.

Tuesday

1:57 a.m. - Report of a large fight at the entrance to a bar. Members attended and interrupted a group of people arguing. Subjects separated, outstanding bills were addressed and subjects escorted from the premises.

4:00 a.m. - Report of two men possibly looking into vehicles on 101st Crescent. Patrols of area negative.
