Barbecuing on a balcony brought North Battleford Fire Department to a multi-family condominium unit at 1902 Pearson Ave. Tuesday at about 5:20 p.m.
Investigation by the responding firefighters found light smoke on the second floor where fire alarms were ringing.
Smoke had entered a suite where the homeowner was barbecuing on the balcony setting off the alarms.
Firefighters were on the scene for about 40 minutes.
NBFD responded to a two-vehicle collision Tuesday at about just after 1 p.m. The crash involved a car and a half-ton truck at the intersection of 7th Avenue and 99th Street.
One pumper and four firefighters were on the scene for about 15 minutes. WPD Ambulance treated the occupants of the vehicles on the scene.
