Battlefords RCMP investigate shooting incident on Panton Avenue

RCMP are seeking the public's assistance.

Police are reporting that a white GMC Envoy SUV with an Alberta licence plate may be involved in the incident. 

North Battleford RCMP are seeking assistance as they investigate a firearm incident in the city. 

According to the RCMP, at 11 a.m. on Sept. 1, police received a complaint of a disturbance on Panton Avenue.  Upon arrival, they discovered gunshots had been fired inside of a residence. 

A 20-year-old male attended hospital where he was treated for minor injuries and released.

Unknown perpetrators fled the scene, according to police. Police are also reporting that a white GMC Envoy SUV with an Alberta licence plate may be involved in the incident. 

RCMP are saying that the victim and witnesses inside the residence are not co-operative with the police investigation at this time. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the North Battleford RCMP detachment at 306-446-1720 or their local RCMP detachment, or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
