The annual Battlefords Relay for Life was held indoors for the first time at the Battleford Arena June 5.
The event began with speeches followed by a lap around the arena for cancer survivors who were then joined by their friends and family for the second lap.
Teams consisting of nearly 140 people from all around the area walked the arena until after midnight.
Rob Penley was the top fundraiser, gathering $1,320.
