With many of the residents of Dillon having been evacuated to North Battleford due to fire, the Battlefords Humane Society has been asked to help with pets coming with their families.
They are providing a safe haven for these animals until they can return home, which has resulted in a desperate need of foster homes and any other donations residents can make as they are hoping to not have to charge a fee to families that are already going through a very traumatic time.
Now they need puppy food, and they have asked for donations of food, preferably Purina Puppy Chow, or dollars with which to purchase food, which can be sent by email money transfer to bhsdonations2019@gmail.com
The shelter says, “We truly appreciate our wonderful community and all our supporters near and far.”
