Battlefords RCMP investigated approximately 40 occurrences between 6 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 20 and 6 a.m. Monday, Nov. 21.
Sunday, Nov. 20
9:27 a.m. - Hit and run on 101st Street. Suspect vehicle described as a small black car, believed to be a Mazda, which should have significant damage to the front. Struck another vehicle at an intersection. The subject remained on scene briefly and fled scene without exchanging information with the other driver.
2:21 p.m. - Break and enter to a residence at Bayview Heights in Cochin. Items removed include a television.
3:37 p.m. - A residence on the Red Pheasant First Nation was fired upon by subject(s) in a vehicle. The residence was believed to have been struck at least once. No one was injured. There were at least two occupants of the residence at the time. Two men were arrested shortly after 10 p.m. in connection with this incident, which remains under investigation. No charges have been laid at this point and both men remain in custody.
3:56 p.m. - Break and enter to a another residence at Bayview Heights in Cochin.
4:35 p.m. - Report of a break and enter to a storage compound on 5th Avenue in Battleford. Occurred sometime over the weekend. Several motor homes entered.
5:07 p.m. - Grey 2005 Chrysler 300 Touring car with Saskatchewan licence 293KJX reported stolen. Suspect is known to owner of the vehicle.
Police arrested three people for alcohol/disturbance related offences, responded to 14 other minor disturbances, two false/nuisance 911 calls, one child welfare matter, two traffic matters, one minor collision, one Mental Health Act matter and two missing persons who were located within the noted time period.
