BECIP gets the word out on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Awareness Day

BECIP were on the streets handing out information, cups and shirts

NORTH BATTLEFORD - Thursday Sept. 9 marked Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Awareness Day, a way to remind people that all nine months of pregnancy should be alcohol-free to ensure newborn children are healthy.

Staff at Battlefords Early Childhood Intervention Program, seen here outside City Hall, did their part to raise awareness in the city. They handed out cups, shirts and information cards to people driving past in the community.
