The Battlefords RCMP received approximately 32 calls for service between 6 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3.
Included in those calls were four municipal bylaw or disturbance complaints, four false alarms, two Child Welfare or Family Act complaints, two traffic investigations and one missing person report.
Tuesday
7:55 a.m. - Complaint of damage to a potted plant holder outside a downtown business.
9:11 a.m. - Complaint of theft of sunglasses from a vehicle overnight on the 1400 block of 102nd Street.
9:35 a.m. - Complaint of break and enter into a local business. Investigation ongoing.
9:40 a.m. - Complaint of a vehicle being broken into overnight on the 1700 block of 97th Street. Many items taken from within. Investigation ongoing.
11:00 a.m. - Complaint of theft of tools from a contractor site at a local business.
12:09 p.m. - Complaint of theft of gas from a local business.
12:53 p.m. - Another complaint of theft of gas from a different business.
1:12 p.m. - Complaint of theft of van keys. Youth found to be in possession of the keys which have been returned to owner. Investigation ongoing.
2:42 p.m. - Complaint of theft of blanket. A man was found in possession of stolen property, however no charges will be pursued in this matter.
3:02 p.m. - Complaint of theft from a vehicle parked at a business on 100th Street overnight.
6:52 p.m. - Complaint of two people intoxicated and fighting at an address on110th Street. Members attended. One person fled, while the other was arrested and lodged in cells until sober.
9:10 p.m. - Complaint of an internal theft at a local business. One person has been arrested and released for court in relation to this incident.
9:39 p.m. - Complaint of assault at an address on 106th Street. Investigation ongoing.
10:12 p.m. - Complaint of three intoxicated people consuming alcohol on the complainant's property. Complainant had asked them to leave, however they refused. Members attended and arrested the three individuals lodging them until sober in cells.
The Battlefords RCMP detachment has recovered a bicycle of significant value. If you have lost such an item please inquire at the detachment or by calling 306-446-1720. The RCMP would like to remind you that the best way to identify bicycles is by recording the serial number and keeping as record of ownership.
