Blaine Lake club hosts 66th annual event

The Blaine Lake Doukhobour Ladies Club held its 66th annual spring bake sale and tea April 20.

Many local residents stopped by the Blaine Lake Seniors' Centre to be first in line to select from the variety of baked goods, breads and homemade noodles. The women had been busy for many days with baking and making noodles in preparation for the day.

On offer was also a borscht and sandwich luncheon, silent auction and opportunity to purchase tickets on the raffle tables. A large crowd gathered for the lunch in support of the Doukhobour Ladies Club.
