The city of North Battleford has announced that effective immediately, the boat launch is reopened.
The launch had been closed due to high water levels, rapid currents and debris. According to their news release, conditions have been deemed safe by Director of Protective Services/Fire Chief Lindsay Holm.
Those planning to use the boat launch are advised to still use caution as there may be some debris leftover from the higher waters; any remaining debris will be cleared out on Monday, July 20.
