It was a relatively busy 24 hours for Battlefords RCMP, who responded to more than 20 calls for service/occurrences between 6 a.m. Thursday, March 27 and 6 a.m. Friday, March 28.
Among those calls were two false alarms and two noise complaints.
Thursday
7:57 a.m. - Collision at intersection of 13th Avenue and 102nd Street involving a vehicle and two parked vehicles. Minor injuries reported, matter remains under investigation and at this time alcohol does not appear to have been a factor in the collision.
9:55 a.m. - Report of a missing 14-year-old, not seen since morning of March 25. Located a short time later.
1:47 p.m. - Reported internal theft at a business.
3:51 p.m. - 47-year-old man arrested after report of intoxicated man sleeping between two parked vehicles on 104th Street.
4:30 p.m. - 44-year-old man arrested after report of an intoxicated man sleeping on the stairs of an apartment building on 105th Street.
5:33 p.m. - 44-year-old man arrested and facing charges of failing to comply with probation, found intoxicated sleeping on sidewalk near detachment. To appear in provincial court Friday.
8:22 p.m. - North Battleford RCMPhave arrested and charged a 34-year-old man after a report of a sexual assault which occurred approximately one week earlier. The man is facing charges of sexual interference, sexual assault and invitation to sexual touching. He is also been found to be in violation of a parole order, which has since been revoked. The man was set to appear in North Battleford Provincial Court on Friday .
Friday
12:59 a.m. - 45-year-old man arrested for causing a disturbance after report of intoxicated people causing a scene on Railway Avenue East.
2:39 a.m. - 25-year-old woman arrested and facing charges of impaired driving and driving while over .08 after a vehicle stop on Railway Avenue East.
4:27 a.m. - 46-year-old man arrested after a report of an intoxicated man causing problems at a residence on 112th Street.
5:02 a.m. - Called to a residence on 107th Street. Caller and wife both drinking and can't resolve their differences and so want the police to come and mediate their dispute.
5:52 a.m. - Report of unwanted guest at a residence who is intoxicated and causing problems. 31-year-old man located and arrested.
