He's back. Brad Pattinson was sworn in Monday night to reclaim his seat on North Battleford city council following a two-year absence from the role.

Pattinson was on council for 15 straight years before an unsuccessful run for mayor in the 2009 municipal election. He won the Sept. 14 municipal byelection over six other candidates to take over the seat that became vacant when Rhonda Seidel departed in the spring for a new position in Swift Current.

Pattinson and the rest of council have a year left to go in the current term before they go to the polls again in 2012.
