A man has been arrested in connection to break and enters in the Battlefords.
According to an RCMP news release Monday, Liam Bassingthwaighte has been arrested and faces several charges.
He appeared in North Battleford Provincial Court Monday morning and was released, subject to a number of strict conditions. He is due to be back in court Nov. 19.
His arrest follows an ongoing investigation into break and enters as well as mischief toproperty in the Battlefords area.
According to the RCMP, search warrants were executed this past weekend. Police say this has resulted in the seizure of a substantial amount of stolen property, as well as five firearms related to a break and enter.
Bassingthwaighte is charged with one count of possession of stolen property exceeding $5,000, two counts of break enter and theft, one count of mischief to property exceeding$5,000, one count of possession of break in instruments, one count of unsafe storage of firearms and one count of breach of undertaking.
