The Battlefords RCMP are alerting the public to a number of break and enters in the town of Battleford and the surrounding area.
Police say entry is typically gained into residential garages resulting in thefts of property and vehicles. Property owners are encouraged to secure their residences, garages, outbuildings and vehicles. Exterior lighting and security systems are also great preventative measures, police say.
They also advise residents to report any and all suspicious activity to the RCMP.
