Broken glass threats lead to charges against teen

Between 6 a.m. Monday, March 3 and 6 a.m. Tuesday, March 4, Battlefords RCMP responded to about 15 calls for service/occurrences. Monday 12:47 p.m. - Two-vehicle collision at 18th Avenue and 101st Street.

Between 6 a.m. Monday, March 3 and 6 a.m. Tuesday, March 4, Battlefords RCMP responded to about 15 calls for service/occurrences.

Monday

12:47 p.m. - Two-vehicle collision at 18th Avenue and 101st Street. No injuries, both vehicles sustained significant damage and had to be towed from scene. Accident still under investigation.

1:46 p.m. - Responded to a call at a youth facility reporting a female in possession of a broken piece of glass threatening to stab staff members. 13-year-old was arrested by members without incident and has been charged with assault with a weapon, uttering threats, failing to comply with probation and failing to comply with an undertaking. Subject remanded into custody, next court appearance in North Battleford is Wednesday, March 5th at 9:30 a.m.

3:52 p.m. - Report of a break and enter to a business on Highway 4 North, entry gained to a compound.

4:45 p.m. - Charger for an electric scooter stolen from an apartment lobby on 104th Street.

7:13 p.m. - Report of a violation of no contact conditions. Suspect contacted complainant by phone. Investigation ongoing.

10:01 p.m. - Two men, 44 and 31, arrested for causing a disturbance after complaint of two intoxicated males on 900 block of 101st Street.

11:06 p.m. - 40-year-old male arrested for mischief after complaint of intoxicated male banging at a door of a residence on 109th Street. Held in custody until sober.

11:08 p.m. - Report of unwanted guest at a residence on 111th Street that turned out to be a argument between family members. Subject left without issue.
