Battleford council will be meeting next week as it is in the final stages of its budget process.
A budget meeting has been scheduled for Monday at 6 p.m. at Battleford Town Hall. The date was selected as the time when most councillors expect they will be able to attend.
Town Administrator Sheryl Ballendine told town council Monday administration is finishing up the numbers for the capital budget and expects it will take an hour for councillors to go through the budget and make any comments.
Ballendine also noted this meeting will not be the last one in the budget process by any means. However, it is expected that the budget process should be wrapped up sometime during June.
