Services are disrupted Tuesday at Battlefords Union Hospital due to the power outage from Monday night's storm. Patient Care is being maintained with backup power from emergency generators as designed. Members of the public are encouraged not to come to BUH today unless your situation is an emergency. The Emergency Department remains open.
Day surgeries, elective surgeries and most outpatient appointments are cancelled for today.
Because of the power outage, there is no air conditioning in the building. Except for emergency care, people are advised not to visit BUH today as the staff works to keep the building as cool as possible
