The torrid pace of construction in North Battleford saw a cooling off in March.
Three building permits were issued that month for a total of $271,000, compared to four for $652,600 the previous March.
The permits for March included two commercial alterations for $265,000 and one sign permit for $6,000.
Still, the overall numbers for 2014 remain ahead of the 2013 pace according to statistics submitted to Monday's council meeting by Building Inspector Jerry Wintonyk.
A total of 16 permits have been issued for $14,661,700 through March, compared to 13 permits for $6,552,600 for the same period in 2013.
