Building permits are down for the month of April in North Battleford.
Numbers presented at Monday’s city council meeting indicate 11 permits were issued for a permit value of $161,500, compared to 12 issued for $528,500 for the same period a year earlier.
Of the 11 permits, three are commercial alterations, three are residential alterations, three are new garages and two are signs.
Though numbers of permits issued in 2019 has remained steady, permit values for the year through April are also down. A total of 30 permits have been issued for $658,500, compared to 28 issued for $1,588,500 for the same period last year.
