Business vandalized

A business on the 100 block of 22nd Street in Battleford was vandalized during the evening of Sept. 23. Battleford RCMP say a large wooden sign featuring a fork and knife sign was ripped off the roof of the business.

A business on the 100 block of 22nd Street in Battleford was vandalized during the evening of Sept. 23. Battleford RCMP say a large wooden sign featuring a fork and knife sign was ripped off the roof of the business.

Tires, rims and a significant amount of fuel were stolen from a pickup truck parked in the service yard of a business on Thatcher Avenue sometime between Sept. 21 and 22.

At approximately 9:45 p.m. Sept. 10, a blue or black SUV sideswiped a black 2006 Ford Escape while traveling north on the 1800 block of 100th Street in North Battleford. The Ford Escape was damaged and the suspect vehicle fled the scene. The Battlefords RCMP are currently looking for witnesses or any information.

A purse was stolen from a white 2001 Dodge Caravan parked on the 1900 block of 104th Street, North Battleford at about noon Sept. 9. The vehicle was damaged in the break in.

Sept. 7 at approximately 9:15 p.m., the Battleford's RCMP responded to an armed robbery behind a business on the 1700 block of 100th Street. Two to three non-white men armed with a knife, exited a purple GMC truck that was driven by a non-white female and robbed two men of an undisclosed amount of money. The man with the knife is described as being in his early 20s, approximately 5'11" and wearing a while t-shirt.The victims were not injured. The perpetrators are still at large and the investigation is continuing.

Garret Faron Tyler Sunchild, 39: uttering a forged document; obstruction of a peace officer; breach of recognizance.
