Busy weekend of vehicle incidents

It was a busy weekend for North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services as they responded to a number of incidents involving motor vehicles.

It was a busy weekend for North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services as they responded to a number of incidents involving motor vehicles.

One such incident happened at the corner of Territorial Drive and 100th Street, as two vehicles were involved in a motor vehicle accident at around 11:50 p.m.

The occupants of the vehicles were unharmed and in the care of WPD Ambulance, according to fire officials. The vehicles involved were a small passenger van and an SUV.

Sunday, NBFES responded to a vehicle fire approximately four kilometres north on Miller Road. Upon arrival, the vehicle was completely burned. No injuries were reported, and the occupant was not at the scene. Four fire personnel fought the blaze for 45 minutes.

Finally, NBFES were back to fighting dumpster fires. The latest happened Saturday at the 1400 block of 105th Street.

Four personnel were on the scene for 12 minutes. There were no injuries.
