Cab rider refuses to pay fare

Of the 20 calls Battlefords RCMP responded to between 6 a.m. - Monday, Nov. 25 and 6 a.m. - Tuesday, Nov. 26, five were alarm calls. All were confirmed to be false. Monday 7:13 a.m. - Subject refusing to pay cab fare.

Of the 20 calls Battlefords RCMP responded to between 6 a.m. - Monday, Nov. 25 and 6 a.m. - Tuesday, Nov. 26, five were alarm calls. All were confirmed to be false.

Monday

7:13 a.m. - Subject refusing to pay cab fare. Members called to 900 block of 101st Street to assist.

10:21 a.m. - Assault reported. Victim and suspect known to each other. Statements attained and matter remains under investigation.

1:10 p.m. - Apartment door damaged on 1900 block of St Laurent Drive. No entry gained. Unknown perpetrators.

2:00 p.m. - Hit and run near 100th Street and Territorial Drive North intersection. Suspect vehicle described as older greenish-blue car. Involved in collision with another vehicle and fled scene south on 100th Street without stopping.

2:34 p.m. - Report of theft of empty bottles from a yard on 1200 block of 95th Street by three youth.

3:57 p.m. - 911 call to report a cell phone being stolen in Saskatoon four days earlier. Not a proper use of 911 system.

8:30 p.m. - 23-year-old man arrested for public intoxication after report of a male on Clark Drive causing a disturbance. Held in custody until sober.

9:18 p.m. - 30-year-old man arrested for public intoxication, causing problems on 900 block of 103rd Street.

Tuesday

3:40 a.m. - 43-year-old man arrested for public intoxication, reported to be causing problems on 900 block of 103rd Street.
